Day-to-Day IT Operations
Establish a process for communication, execution, and feedback for IT services that works within the framework of business operations
Work with management to develop and implement organizational IT Policies and Procedures
Contribute strategic planning for IT needs according to operating plan and growth strategy
Provide detailed reporting to management
Conduct periodic needs assessments to identify shortfalls in user IT knowledge, system operability / compatibility, and service
Incorporate critical feedback into process improvement
Resource Management
Recommend and purchase new equipment and software
Upgrade existing equipment and software
Maintain and catalog inventory
Set up new users
Establish and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies and procedures
Tech Support
Provide on-site and remote PC Troubleshooting
Provide on-site and remote network maintenance and support, including server and system patching
Ensure critical response through a 24-hour 800 number
Install and maintain backup and recovery systems
Troubleshoot malfunctions
Resolve issues with service 3rd-party providers
Ensure that current plans meet management’s expectations
